Enjoy space, tranquillity and a magnificent view over the river Waal!
Our campsite is located in the heart of the Betuwe district on the river Waal, within a stone’s throw of Arnhem and Nijmegen, in a landscape of sloping river forelands, meandering rivers, flowering fruit orchards and picturesque dyke houses.
This unique location offers excellent opportunities for cycling and walking tours on the dyke and along the river Waal or for casting your fishing line in the river or in our own fishpond. A historic city walk in the ancient Roman city of Nijmegen (“Noviomagum”) or a visit to the Open Air Museum and Burgers’ Zoo (Arnhem) are also most rewarding. A day trip to the Hoge Veluwe National Park or the Gelderse Poort nature reserve, including a visit to the Millinger Theetuin (a tea garden), is an interesting excursion for true nature lovers.
The campsite covers about 4.5 hectares and has 150 pitches at most. Almost half of the pitches are situated directly at the waterside, providing a magnificent view over the river and its shipping. Furthermore, the campsite has modern sanitary facilities, an attractive terrace on the bank of the river Waal and ample sports and play facilities. Our campsite is characterised by a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. Therefore, our campsite is an ideal holiday destination for nature lovers, rest seekers, cyclists, walkers and fishermen and women. In the immediate vicinity, you will find a supermarket, a sports centre and a recreation lake.
