Centrally located in the Veluwe district, with good old-fashioned hospitality.
At this campsite, we deliberately do not have disco nights, bingo, a bar, a shop or asphalt. However, you will find hospitality here; good old-fashioned hospitality involving personal attention. The campsite is safe and friendly for children, with great play opportunities, washing machines and driers, a library, a cold store, baby rooms, bicycle repair facilities, etc.
Right from Camping Beek en Hei you can walk into the neighbouring woods, the Otterlo sand drift and the nearby Planken Wambuis nature reserve. The Hoge Veluwe National Park, with its large wildlife population, the underground Museonder museum and the Kröller-Müller museum, is in the immediate vicinity. The centre of the village of Otterlo, with its charming shops and wide variety of cosy restaurants, lunchrooms and cafes, is within walking distance.
Friendly towns such as Ede, Barneveld, Apeldoorn and Arnhem are within cycling distance and have lots to offer; from the Open Air Museum to an agricultural fair and from a safari park and a tropical garden to an enjoyable shopping experience.
Camping Beek en Hei is open all year round (heated in winter) and has some well-heated hikers’ huts, which are also available all year round. You can choose from a variety of large, sheltered pitches, with or without connections for electricity. For children, we organise story and hobby hours. Open all year round. Reservation recommended.
